The eventual aim of this website is to provide as much information as possible about the various series produced and edited by Emanuel Haldeman-Julius, one of the most important populist publishers on the 20th century. The focus of this Website is on the collector. The ultimate goal is to see something whose depth and breadth is on the order of the Modern Library Collectors Website -- but that will take quite a while, and a lot of cooperation from collectors like you. Unlinked items on this page that appear in bold italicized black type will likely become links to in-depth articles, tables, and/or displays. Items in bold italicized magenta type (is that magenta?) are articles/tables/displays that are being actively working on and that should be available Real Soon Now. If you have ideas for other topics, please send them to me. Your participation is earnestly solicited!!! A project this size isn't a one-person operation. There's no Haldeman-Julius collector's guide like Henry Toledano's guide for Modern Library collectors or Terry Seymour's guide for Everyman's Library collectors (two other populist series) so this site will have to fulfill that function. Without you, I can't do it. You really should join the Little Blue Books Discussion Group at Google Groups. It's this site's official e-mail list, and a very effective way to get into contact with other Haldeman-Julius collectors and to share information.
